Our Story
COVER'D was founded by Dee, a Perth native with a passion for fashion and a deep respect for the sun. Growing up in Western Australia, Dee inherited her father’s fair complexion and always felt different in a culture that prized a bronzed, sun-kissed look. It was only when she moved to London and traveled across Europe to pursue her fashion career that she found a community that celebrated pale skin and unique beauty.
But Dee’s journey wasn’t just about aesthetics. Her father, who had worked as a roof carpenter, developed several forms of skin cancer later in life, including melanoma. This personal experience with the dangers of sun exposure inspired Dee to create COVER'D—a brand that honors her father’s legacy and empowers others to protect their skin without sacrificing style.
