Return and Refund Policy

At COVER'D, we are committed to ensuring that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. While we don’t sell our products directly online, our valued stockists handle all transactions, including returns and refunds.

This policy outlines how you can process a return or refund through the stockist where you purchased your COVER'D items.


Returns for Change of Mind

If you change your mind about your purchase, you may return the item to the stockist where it was purchased, provided that:

  • The item is in its original condition—unworn, unwashed, and with all tags attached.
  • The item is returned within the time frame specified by the stockist’s return policy.
  • The item is accompanied by the original proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).

Refund or Exchange: Refunds or exchanges for change of mind are subject to the policies of the individual stockist. Please check with the store where you made your purchase for specific terms and conditions.


Faulty or Damaged Goods

If you believe your COVER'D item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please return it to the stockist from which it was purchased. Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy which may include a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances:

  • Faulty Goods: If your item is found to be defective, the stockist will assess the issue and offer a solution in line with their policies and Australian Consumer Law.
  • Damaged in Transit: If your item was damaged in transit, please report this to the stockist immediately upon discovering the damage.

Remedy: The stockist will process any returns or refunds, and they will cover the costs as required by law. Remedies may include repair, replacement, or refund.


How to Initiate a Return or Refund

To initiate a return or refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Stockist: Bring your item, along with your proof of purchase, to the stockist where you originally bought the product.
  2. Explain the Issue: Clearly explain the reason for your return or refund request, whether it’s a change of mind or an issue with the product.
  3. Follow Stockist’s Procedure: The stockist will guide you through their return or refund process in line with their store policy.


Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, color, or product, please check with the stockist about their exchange policy. Exchanges are typically processed based on the availability of stock.


Exceptions

Please note that certain items may not be eligible for return or exchange. These typically include:

  • Items marked as final sale.
  • Personalised or custom-made items.
  • Underwear or swimwear, due to hygiene reasons.

Consumer Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. These guarantees apply regardless of the stockist’s individual return policy.
